Well it's official. The Motorcycle Escort Unit took First AND Second place in the annual chili cookoff held this weekend at the Metropolitan Park Pavilion. I can substantiate the descision by the judges. I had two bowls of it. It was real goooood!!! The event was a huge success with lots of people turning out for food, fun and entertainment. The crowd went wild when Elvis entered the building on a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic driven by none other than Andy Allen of the escort unit. I finally got a chance to put faces with the morning show crew Mark, Genny and Dahmer at Rock 105. Genny was very pleasant even with me jamming a camera in her face. I don't think my pictures do her near the justice her pics on her page do. Maybe I'll get betterer at this whole picture taking thing so all the miscellaneous pictures I take from now on will turnout as if a professional had taken them.
All in all, I think everyone had a great time and alot of money was raised for our children. Many thanks and appreciation to all that participated and congradulations to the winners, the Motorcycle Escort Unit. Please leave your comments about the event and correct or add any information I may have left out, especially all the names of the judges and entertainment that I do not know.

I thought I might take this time to welcome back any and everybody that has been monitoring the birth and growth of the Morocco Shrine Motorcycle Escort Unit website. With any webiste, proper planning and focus make the outcome. I wanted this site to, not only, show what the unit is all about to the public, but additionally, provide a centralized location for distribution of information among members of the unit internally.
Since the last update we have added a forum and classifieds. These two areas will continue to grow and evolve as we go further. I am in the process of providing a way for our brethren to submit petitions for joining the unit online. This is in the final stages and may be ready shortly.
Please enjoy these, as well as, let us know your comments in the forum about the website.
